CHICAGO Police say a 41-year-old Chicago man has been arrested for
allegedly trying to sell Viagra to two undercover Chicago narcotics
officers.
Maurice Hope was arrested Friday night after approaching the officers
at the Clark and Division station of the C-T-A's Red Line.
Hope allegedly offered the officers the erectile dysfunction drug for
five dollars per pill.
When the officers agreed, Hope allegedly took a medicine bottle from
his pocket and poured several blue pills into his hand. The officers
then identified themselves and arrested him.
A judge ordered Hope held in lieu of three-thousand-dollars bail. He
has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
